Here at Norseal, we know that fire safety will always be of the utmost importance. To honour this, we’ve expanded our range of fire stopping products to include a selection of market leading FSI products.
We’ve put together a quick round up of some of the new products we’re adding, including all the details about their standard certification, so you can have a nifty guide of all of the new products.
o Silverseal Compound: FSI’s Silverseal Compound is a mortar compound designed to be used on rigid floor constructions penetrated by various cables and metallic pipes. It is fire tested to BS 476:20 & EN 1366-3, CE marked, and its air permeability is tested to EN1026. On top of this, it’s also certified to the UL-EU mark, amongst a whole host of other performance credentials. You can see the full list of credentials here.
o Transit System: The Pass-It Transit System is a shell that can be screwed into flexible and rigid walls that are penetrated by services. It is fire tested to EN 1366-3 and comes in a variety of sizes – from 100x100x130mm to 300x150x150mm. You can see the full-size range here.
o Penopatch: FSI’s Penopatch is a sealing device for small cables and metal/plastic conduits in flexible and rigid walls. The putty, which works by simply being pressed into place, is fire tested to EN 1366-3, classified in accordance with EN 13501-2 and CE marked. It also has been certified in accordance with TS00 General Requirements for Certification of Fire Protection Products and obtained the UL-EU certification mark. o Pyrocoustic Fire Resistant Sealant / Trowel Grade Coating: FSI’s sealant and coating can be used on the gaps and joints between flexible and rigid walls, rigid floors, service penetrations, blank openings, head of walls and can be used with the FSI Fire Batt. They’re fire tested to EN 1366-3 & EN 1366-4, classified in accordance with EN 13501-1 & EN 13501-2, and CE marked – not to mention acoustically tested and tested for air permeability, too. o Fire Pillow: FSI’s Fire Pillow is designed for multi-service penetrations in rigid walls and floors, where services are being continuously changed or replaced. It is fire tested to BS 476 & EN 1366-3, acoustically tested in accordance with EN 10140-2, and air permeability tested to EN 1026, to just name a few of its credentials. o Fire Batt: FSI’s Fire Batt is designed to be cut and positioned in aperture using Pyrocoustic sealant. It is used for permeant penetrations in walls and floors. The Fire Batt is fire tested to Fire tested to BS 476-20:22, EN 1366-3, EN 1363-1 & EN13501-2, acoustically tested to BS EN ISO 10140-2 and air permeability tested to EN 1026.
