Anneka Anderson

My day starts with a spreadsheet and a strong coffee. I look after everything HR-related from payroll and recruitment to new starters and keeping the wheels turning behind the scenes. I also deal with finance tasks like invoice queries and chasing receipts, making sure everything adds up and everyone gets paid. It’s a busy mix of people, paperwork and numbers fuelled by caffeine and colour-coded tabs, and I love it.

When I’m not at work, I’m usually with my four boys, three dogs and one very talkative African grey parrot (all boys, of course). Whether it’s football in the park, badminton in the garden or a trip to the beach, family time is my favourite kind.

Little-known fact: I once knocked myself out running into a hockey post, I make a better lasagne than Heidi, and this is the second company where I’ve worked with both my sisters.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be a maths teacher. But as a middle child trained in family conflict resolution, I’ve found my true calling in HR!
