Acoustic Seals

Acoustic Pic Due to the nature of sound the door must be sealed top and bottom (acoustic threshold seal) together with each side (acoustic perimeter seals). This is because sound will permeate through any space air can. This also means that they are also smoke seals.

Norseal have put together a range of acoustic seals most of which will reach well in excess of 29dB ratings (the minimum requirment) when used with suitable fire doors and indeed offer a higher degree of seal for areas such as music rooms, consulting rooms etc.
